The PDP LABAN Motto: as proposed by Fred Juntilla and Herman Laurel. The human left palm proposed by Sammy Occena, representing the five basic principles of PDP was, likewise, adopted.

To meaningfully and equally improve the quality of life of the Filipino people, regardless of religious creed, providing the necessary sound public policies and sustainable programs through honest, competent, accountable and compassionate government.
VISION
A Filipino nation that is God-fearing, democratic, globally competitive, poverty free, insurgency free, crime free, drug free, and graft and corruption free under the regime of justice, equality and good governance.
ULTIMATE GOAL
Our ultimate goal is to provide good governance for the Filipino people through the alleviation, if not the eradication of poverty; elimination of graft and corruption; efficient and effective enforcement of laws; maintenance of peace and order; speedy dispensation of justice and economic prosperity for all.
